Memory

Terms of Use · Last updated 5 October 2026

These terms cover using Memory — the app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, and the web version at memoryapp.org/app, including when it is installed on Windows — and buying Memory Pro. They are written to be read. If something here is unclear, write to memoryapp2026@gmail.com.

Who you are dealing with

Memory is made and run by Juan Antonio Chalita Izquierdo, an independent developer based in Mexico City, Mexico. Contact: memoryapp2026@gmail.com.

Using Memory

Your content

What you write and upload is yours. Memory only stores and processes it to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from Settings at any time.

Memory Pro

Memory Pro unlocks grades, notebooks, materials, widgets and Memory for Teaching. It is offered as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions may start with a free trial, offered once per person.

Bought in the App Store

Purchases made in the iPhone, iPad or Mac app are processed by Apple and governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement and Media Services terms. Apple charges your Apple ID, renews subscriptions automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and handles cancellations and refunds — from your Apple ID's subscription settings or at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Bought on the web or on Windows

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our web orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to those purchases.

One purchase, every device

Memory Pro belongs to your Memory account, wherever you bought it. Sign in with the same account and it is active on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows and the web.

Refunds

Web and Windows purchases: if Memory Pro isn't for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of a purchase or renewal and you will get your money back in full. Write to memoryapp2026@gmail.com or reply to your Paddle receipt. Where local consumer law gives you more, you get more.

App Store purchases: refunds are decided by Apple; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Changes and availability

Memory gets better over time, so features can change. Nothing you paid for will be taken away during a period you have paid for. If Memory ever shuts down, you will be told ahead of time and be able to export your notes as PDF. Memory is provided as it is, and it can occasionally be unavailable — please don't rely on it as the only place an important deadline is written.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Memory's responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid for Memory Pro in the twelve months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.

Updates to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, the app will say so before the change takes effect. The date at the top always shows the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico.
